Charles is a medical researcher and a biostatistician with more than nine years of experience in clinical and epidemiological research in a multi-diverse community. His primary research interest revolves around studying biological factors as intermediary social determinants of health. As a biostatistician, he develops statistical analysis plans and study protocols. In addition, he provides statistical inputs for study designs and produces tables and graphics for statistical reports using SPSS, R computer languages and Statistical Analysis Systems. His current research revolves around probiotic and herbal supplements, cognition, gastrointestinal, diabetes & continuous glucose monitoring, and women's health (urological studies). Previously, he extensively researched malaria vectors in East Africa through longitudinal entomological surveys to study the best way to control malaria spread in local communities. He's published and reviewed several peer-reviewed scientific journals.
