Meet The Team: Recruitment Officer, Amyleigh

Meet The Team: Recruitment Officer, Amyleigh

International Women's Day is an opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved and what needs to be done to ensure equal opportunities and rights for all women. At Atlantia,  we are proud to be building a workplace where women thrive, with 78% of our team made up of women.

We pride ourselves on the team we have built at Atlantia and recognise that the people we have onboard are central to the success of our organisation. To mark #IWD23 we want to celebrate and highlight all of our female employees and get to know five of them a little bit better...meet our Recruitment Officer, Amyleigh!

Tell us about your role at Atlantia.

So far my role at Atlantia has been great. I am here just over a year now and it has flown by! As a recruitment officer, I recruit participants for our research studies. I ensure that the people that sign up to our studies are suitable to take part based on the specific inclusion/exclusion criteria and answer any questions that volunteers may have before they enroll. Every day I learn something new, whether it is a new medication or a condition I hear about for the first time. I enjoy chatting with people on the phone too!

What do you enjoy most about working for Atlantia?

In my opinion, Atlantia is a great place to work. I think one of the best things about this company is everyone is extremely friendly and would do anything to help others out. The people I work with make me enjoy coming into work.

What’s one bit of advice you would give someone who wants to enter your field of work?

I think you learn a lot in this line of work and it will always stand to you throughout life, no matter what field you enter!

What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?

I’m not too sure where is next on my bucket list, I have so many places to tick off it is hard to choose! I am a big fan of Marmaris. I’ve gone there a few times and always love going back.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life hmm…I feel like this is a tricky one, but it would have to be a bombshell from KCs!
